COVID-19 Safety Statement

Divorce.ie is open for business and we have put in place a number of measures to deal with the COVID-19.

Our aim is to provide our customers with effective Mediation sessions and access to Legal Representation in the safest environment possible. Divorce.ie takes a serious approach to the monitoring of updated Public Health advice and creating a service to our customers implementing those measures.

When Visiting a Mediator/Solicitor
We recommend to all our customers to ensure they wear face coverings if engaged in face to face Mediation sessions or receiving a consultation from your appointed Legal Representative. Protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering while visiting for a scheduled appointment.

We have insured that all our Professional Accredited Mediators have the facility to provide online sessions where required. If visiting a Mediator or Solicitor, it is important to note they may have their own Health & Safety measures in place and we would ask that you adhere to these rules.

Facilities and Equipment
The following control measures have been put in place at our Offices:

  • Hand sanitation stations at all entry points and areas throughout the building.
  • COVID-19 signage to common spaces indicating room capacity.
  • Signage indicating hand washing advice.
  • Additional cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.
  • Designated members of staff are disinfecting common contact points throughout the day.
  • Shared office equipment is cleaned and sanitised; prior to it being used, after a staff member has uses it and before it is being stored away.

Divorce.ie Staff
All Divorce.ie are advised to not to attend our premises if:

  • They have symptoms of the virus.
  • A member of their household has a suspected case of the virus.
  • They have had prolonged exposure to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

We have put in place the following working practices;

  • Staff returning from leave will be contacted prior to their return to work to check if they have visited any high-risk areas. Anyone who has visited a high-risk area will be advised to self-isolate.
  • Staff members will be segregated from one another by department while performing their duties at Divorce.ie offices.
  • All staff members wear face coverings when away from their desks.
  • Staff meetings are reduced and conducted remotely when possible.
  • All travel has been restricted except for trips deemed business critical.
  • Employees are informed that some people may be at higher risk for severe illness, such as older adults and those with compromised immune systems Changing Environment.

We continue to follow the advice given by the WHO and the Irish Government relating to COVID-19.

Given the rapidly changing nature of the pandemic, our control measures and policies surrounding consultations may change and may be updated on a daily basis. These changes will be communicated where applicable.
